Today was a slightly frustrating four hours. We almost lost an actor to another theatre over the weekend, due to the giant storm cancelling some pre-existing shows that were possibly going to be extended into our show weekend. Colin and I were extremely worried that we would have to re-cast by rehearsal tonight. Luckily everything got sorted out, but we're both still a little rattled. To make matters worse, the same actor accidentally slept through their call and we lost a lot of time for working those scenes.
However, we managed to bounce back and now the entire show is blocked!!! Now all that's left to do is fill in the details. I'm particularly happy with how the scene between Jak and Florian went, and I think we've managed to capture the tone just right. It's going to be extremely disturbing, but it's clear that Florian is the one being abused.
